Book Haul – 14th Jan

So much for the whole “not getting new books this year” thing.

These came into the shop at various points in the last week or so and have managed to make their way home with me. When I’ll get round to them, I don’t know. Especially considering reading isn’t my No. 1 priority right now; writing is. Yikes

Even Lord Varys is looking exceptionally annoyed with me today!

I’ve seen The Seven Husband of Evelyn Hugo a fair amount during my internet travels, so figured I’d give it a go and see what all the fuss is about.

Inspector Coulbeck’s Casebook is a collection of short stories, but that characters name has a personal connection so I wanted to give him a try!

The Tattooist of Auschwitz was recommended to me while in the shop so I figured I’d give it a go. Based on a true story it’ll probably make me cry!

The Bone Collector my Mum has been trying to get me to read for years and I now have no excuses!

So, I need to get my finger out and do some proper page turning! These books will go back to the shop once I’ve read them. But definitely no more books until I’ve read some of these – preorders not included!

  1. Is that the book the Angelina and Denver Washington movie was based on? Also when I saw the Coulbeck book i thought some one was referencing you directly🙂. When you have a time we need to discuss some Witcher… have a look on the group, when you have time… Good luck with the writing!
